  • Assessing Sales and Pre-Sales requirements
  • Identification of target client/s by country
  • Participation in global exhibitions
  • Building strong relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • End to end responsible for the closure of sales
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and collaborating business relationships with key business leaders
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities such as production schedules.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying competitor products.
  • Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The Business Development Manager individually drives market position and achievement of business outcomes through the Demand and Account Management/Commercial Operations Core Process. This position is the core sales position within the company responsible for new business/clients as well as managing/leveraging existing accounts. The Business Development Manager drives results through individual and collective team sales efforts. The position is responsible for leveraging collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, engineering/survey, and product development and technology groups in order to drive service and business outcomes. The Business Development Manager also contributes to strategic initiatives and planning through extensive knowledge of market conditions within their assigned specific location or group of locations, country or group of countries, market sector, and/or product(s)
